I mean I do agree with the premise of this argument because without that sense of anxiety what motivation do most of us have to ever change. I know for me my anxiety about where I am in life where I'm going and the things that need to happen to get me there have pushed me to change behaviors and grow and while it's never perfect it's a combination of anxiety and self forgiveness that allows me to continue to improve even if I'm not getting everything right instantaneously it's all in the right direction

Has the discord server been taken down? I really enjoyed taking part in that community and having conversations with other like minded individuals. Any information would be greatly appreciated!

Anxiety is thinking of the future.

Depression is thinking of the past.

Hello ToT,

I can really need your help. I have recently published a book on Psychology and Philosophy which contains some very provocative but in my humble opinion equally very helpful ideas of whom I think they could be of your interest. I obviously want to spread my ideas as much as I can and am therefore eager to enter English speaking and thinking audiences and readers. My language is German and also the three volumes of my book: "Ein Buch über Dich und alles andere von Bedeutung", or: "A book about You and everything else of importance", have yet to be translated. Maybe you know people interested in new and meaningful ideas and capable of deciphering German and English in one person?
Your video is splendid as always but I have to add: Fear and anxiety arise when we believe to be in a dangerous situation and this can be a "real" danger or not. Fear IS or can be a signal that one should stop what he´s doing, retreat or abolish his plans. The solution can only be a healthy and therefore realistic balance between facing fears and using them as guidance away from something and this can only be achieved by a fully developed mind. From the modern day perspective of a inhabitant of "first world nations" the slogan: "Always against and towards your fears! Never flee them!", only has its values because we are all under experienced, underdeveloped and pampered.
Some of my video meant as advertising for my thoughts and books:
