Thank you again for your videos. After a day of fighting with my machine I found the problem right where you said it should be. Back to perfect tension immediately. It is not the first time one of your videos have saved me from screaming! You are an absolute star 🌟

One hundred million times thank you!!! I have a very old sewing machine, so it opens completely differently and the tension disks look a bit different. But after playing with different tensions (what other videos suggest) and not solving the problem, I found your video and what you talk about was exactly the problem. Found some thread and fluff stuck there. Thank you!

No nesting just the message to check upper thread. I watched your video and together with my husband we undid the cover. He sucked out some fluff with his mini vac and replaced the cover. No more error messages and I can sew again. Thank you, Keith, for your brilliant videos.

Thank you so much for this video!!! I was about to have to drive 2 hours away to get my machine serviced. After watching this video I found a thread stuck in the tension plate. You made my day!!

Thank you Keith, that helped me fix my problem, although I have also developed severe envy for your hi-tech machine!

After watching your video I was able to fix my Brother INNOV-IS 2600. The fault was caused by a few bits of cotton stuck in between the pressure plates. 😁 Thank you.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I watched both your videos on thread problems-- I have a Babylock Solaris 2 that kept giving me "upper thread/re-thread" error messages and would only sew a few minutes before stopping. The machine was threaded correctly--- I've only had it a few weeks too! I watched this particular video and was able to see what the problem was-- a tiny little metal spring thing was not in it's proper place. I moved it back and my machine is now embroidering perfectly! I thought I was going to have to put it in the shop. Bless

Thank you, this fixed my machine after thinking it was the bobbin that had the problem!

Nice to meet you! Keith, I have a brother 1000e, and all of a sudden I am having thread nests on. #5&6 needles! I'm going to check the tension on those after watching this video! Thanks!!!

Thank you Keith. Never knew you could do that. Hope I do not need it yet!!

my top thread bunches under the embroidery, and absolutely no bobbin thread is being used. this all occurred after trying to embroider a hat (using a hat hoop), resulted in a few broken needles and jams. cleaned up the debris and broken tips, but ever since then, the machine has been nesting and jamming.

Very helpful. I found thread wrapped around the sensor wire and was able to gently remove almost all of it. However, there is still one piece that looks as if it is tied around the sensor wire. How should I proceed? Even with the end cap removed there’s little space in which to work. Thank you for your thorough approach.

How does contamination make the thread pull easier? Would be the opposite

Is this done with presser foot down during this process? How do I make sure I've manually placed it back in the correct tension position before replacing the cover?
