I've owned that tool for a while, and I fucking love it. Keep up the great work. Great channel

I'm getting this. Working smarter, not harder is how you stay ahead in business

It does regular pistons right? Like I feel I saw an attachment for regular pistons.

Will it push a non twist type caliper piston back in with shop air

That's awesome! Flatmate Master your channel rocks! I have to say seeing that coolant shop air pressure tester and now this great tool. I love tools and I love seeing new tried and true tools. Thanks for sharing and I look forward to more.

I just broke down and got a block. I used to use a big pair of needle nose pliers.

That tool looks extremely friggen handy. for non screw type pistons, I like my good ole vise grip panel clamps. they give a nice feel for if the piston doesn't want to retract. if it takes more effort than the clamp can deliver with moderate pressure, chances are the caliper is near failure/ binding up/ brake hose issue.

Not that expensive when you take in to consideration the snap on manual brake caliper tool with less adapters goes for over $300

Plus it goes clockwise and counterclockwise unlike the snap on

Can use the adapters from the harbor freight set on this tool or any other set?

Hmm... the quick release is the selling point! Let's see how long it takes before I have one!

Did SIR go out of business? My coworker that owned this tool moved on and I can't find one in stock. One seller said SIR is closed? Is the mastercool set a viable alternative? Cheap amazon ones that have to be rethreaded for our fittings?

awesome tool. I have that Mac one, I've always had a problem keeping tension on mine. but I can't justify buying that other tool since I only use mine maybe once a year. I've actually had it for 10 years. not a lot of vehicles around here have turn in pistons, since 3/4 of the vehicles around here are bush trucks.

Will it work for both clockwise and counterclockwise or just clockwise pistons?

can you run back front calipers with this too?? i ordered one from Matco not Matco name brand but i did not care.. also can we add a old worn out Brake pad an run back the double piston style on like F-350's an what not..

Neat tool, I bet the the Matco one is marked up. I personally don't like the turnback style rear calipers. I prefer drum/discs or just plain drum brakes. Ugh, and as time goes we will see more and more electric parking brakes!!

@flatratemaster
great video, like always. but i would have like to seen what this tool is ca[able of while hooked up to the air supply. my shop has an OTC set, and just today i was thinking "this kind of sucks"
not like i'll be able to talk the boss in to buying this SIR set or anything, just curious is all.

keep up the great work, love your videos, truly

Will the adapters from the other kit work on it? Can you buy jut the air tool part? Just curious. I know if you like a tool it's worth buying otherwise you would tell us it junk. Thank for the vid

Not a bad tool when you have an injured hand or something. It's a nice luxury.
