Fun fact: The noun "computer" wasn't part of the English language until .... computers were invented. However, the word derives from the job description which it most closely resembled. In WW2, it was common for women to help the war effort by doing ballistics calculations for artillery. When a machine was invented which approximated the job function, it took the same name.

The "1946" argument is so shallow and sad.

I was trying to think about this and the ultimate cause for anyone trying to say that homosexuality is okay or the Bible has it wrong is justification for sin. One day every knee shall bow and every tongue confess. Woe to those who say good is evil and evil is good.

This is why contextual reading of the Bible is so important. Romans 1:26-27 explains 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 and homosexual behaviour..

Yup. If the word/term represents an action, the focus should be on the action, not when one particular word/term for it appeared.
