Hahahaha I live in Oslo, and when I saw this was a Norwegian snacks video I was just waiting for the salty licorice to appear. It's always going to be in these videos. Scandinavians love their licorice. The salt isn't actually normal salt, that's why it tastes so strong. It's ammonium salt, which has a very nasally punch to it. I think it's gross too but we have AMAZING chocolate here though!!!

kids in Norway usually play with the seigmen when they eat it haha, they replace bode parts with each if the seigmen, like we bite of a green arm and a yellow arm and switch them. It just .. i don't know, ended up happening over the years hahaha I remember doing it as a little kid too

Your Norwegian is pretty good, guys! :)

I enjoy the big chocolate bars very much - too much, probably! There's one called "fruktnøtt" - "fruit nut", which is basically like the ones you tried with nuts, but also with raisins. Another good one is Daim, which has little bits of almond brittle in it. Yum.

Eagerly awaiting part two!

Fun fact: The standard size for pretty much all Norwegian chocolate bars was about 50% the size of what they are now, up until American company, Mondelez bought out Freia and cranked up the sizes of their bars. The largest chocolate competitor, Nidar followed suit and cranked up their sizes as well.. and now, we're stuck with mid and large- size chocolate bars. They don't even produce the small- sized ones anymore :P

SURGE was discontinued for a long while, but it's making a comeback in many places in the US. It's like Mountain dew mixed with orange drink.

Melkesjokale are like a norwegian nathional treasure. Just sithout the "nutty" nuts, they stupidly filled in some years ago. We also have a nother one who hold as a nathional treasure, called Kvikk Lunsj. Every easter hollyday norwegians take to the mountains and do our skiactivity, and Kvikk Lunsj are always stashed in the backsack . The alesnumber for that one goes crasy around easter. My favorite as a kid was Hobby. Fishermans Friends are also popular as a shotdrink. Just put a bag of it innto a bottle of Vodka, shake it well and put it in the fridge for a couple of hours.

I'm Norwegian and I am really shocked that you said almost everything right! This is the first time I have seen someone trying Norwegian candy and know how to say almost every word😂💕

I’m Norwegian and I pretty much agree with you guys. One thing though, holy crap your Norwegian pronunciation is so spot on in most cases that its scary. No other people from any other nationality are anywhere near that. I’ll even subscribe before watching part 2. Thanks guys for your videos (in advance).
