Vendor BAG GLITCH PATCH 7 Baldur's Gate 3

Oh yes, we found another Vendor Bag Glitch in Baldur's Gate 3 Patch 7. They thought they could stop us from saving the city by any means necessary, and we have found out a new way to be able to get as many items as possible from vendors using this exploit. This is a pretty quick and easy method. It's not the same as the previous one, but you can set this up to be fairly straightforward.
This was previously patched multiple times, but we found out a new way to get it working, which is pretty funny. This does involve us attacking the merchant with lethal or non-lethal attacks.

I think the pact of the blade warlock glitch is probably a little bit safer so you don't either accidentally kill the vendor, or make people around the vendors mad

for those asking "why not just hack in a lot of money instead" I say basically "It's more fun to use in game mechanics to mess around even if its not the intended way to do it" similar to using glitches in a games speed run. you could just put in a code to bring you to the final boss but the speed run fun is using all the various tricks to get the best speed.

Found my first new legendary action surprise, they added a few to a Spectator in the Underdark, the one who unfreezes all those statues near the Sellunite outpost waypoint..Went there under-leveled, level 4, I wanted to reach lvl5 there, to have that extra attack that most classes get on level 5, for the Hag fight! But in retrospect, I should have clear the goblin camp and leaders, before underdark, but then I loose steal the idol quest, with that great ring reward, because when you finish the leaders, Mol's quest gets an update, and you no longer need to steal the idol, and claim the ring! But that sequence of events made me go to underdark early, and now I'm fighting for my life, because of extra legendary actions!

Pact of the blade glitch is MUCH faster and safer! You just bind most expensive weapon you got to your warlock, and select that weapon, along with one other common item, cause you can't add it to wares in single select, only when that weapon is in the group of selected items of at least two! Once that weapon is added to wares, you get a gold value for it every time you try to empty your wares by selling it, but since that item cannot be sold, you just repeat the process until vendor runs out of gold! By doing that, you have the resources to buy ANYTHING you want! And if you want your money back, just sell your pact-binded weapon, or try to do it :)
I always try to raise at least 18k when I arrive to act 3 lower city, to buy that buff in the temple near basilisk gate, just donate 4600 gold or the same value in stuff to one of the god's statue, and you have permanent +2 to ALL saving throws, anointed in splendour is the name of the buff! You can steal the money back in the cellar, but that removes blessing and add curse, which you can remove with a spell or a scroll, and go to blessing once again, this time for free! It tells you that you can come at the beginning of each new day for the buff, but in patch 6 hotfix 25 that wasn't necessary, you get it automatically after long rests! In this new patch I don't know, I erased all my old saves, cause it was getting crowded after 19 playthroughs, and in this new run, I'm still in act one!

Dammon in act 3 is a good victim of this, i used to just knock him out all the time in my playthroughs and just mug him for the legendary armor since nobody else is around lmao

This is NOT actually a glitch. This is just the way the game works. If we were able to take the bag without knocking him out, that would be the glitch.

So now I am leaving lots of traders dazed and wondering why they seem to have been mugged, not that they notice after long rest, since their inventory is renewed. Another thing to add is that if you go back to them donate all the crap that you didn't actually want. And they will become super friendly to you as well.

If you want a loner character right click to kill mod is great for you if you are a Wizard.

Pretty sure you weren't able to steal the bag due to it's weight. If it's that full, it weighs a lot and characters can't pick it up

How do you do this on console? I can open the bag in the merchants inventory but cant seem to do the click>drag>drop for their items

If you already play modded, why use the item glitch to make money? Easy Cheat is a mod, that is said to also work with patch 7. ;)
