In future videos, I would like you to see you interviewing some people who are not native speakers and show us some common mistakes that they(we) make when they(of course me too) answer some unexpected questions. \ /

I love your teaching style Papa English. I have advanced english compared to my peers, and I teach english to some of them. But even now, I'm always learning new things and found your YouTube channel very interesting. Thanks for the lessons. Greetings from Chile.

"Yes, I do" is the most natural and common. Also, I always tell my Spanish students not to follow a modal verb with "to".

Repeat the main verb in the question:
DO you want to...? Yes i DO
HAVE you been to...? Yes I HAVE.
ARE you hungry? Yes I AM
Etc.

When i discover this years ago It blew my mind. I was abroad and i asked (notice the mistake) "you speak english?" And the answer gived was "yes, i do". That showed me two things: 1- i should've said "do you speak english?" And the proper answer (as the vídeo and the person that i asked replied is "yes, i do". Thanks buddy, grettings from Chile.

I'm studying Foreign Languages at the university and I'm advanced for the level of the general class so I don't take English classes (mexican here), but my classmates often ask me to help them with a lot of things, for example, to correct writtings and I always have to tell them to add the object cuz they forget it almost all of the time. I like your videos, they're really helpful!

First, as a woman you’re kinda naughty.... 😂😂😂😂 Secondly, I thought that the mistake was “Yes I do” instead of “Yes I want to” 😅

This video was very helpful for me.
I would like to understand and I believe that you should record a video talking more about when in English we should use some prepositions on the final of some sentences. As you said in this video: "Do you want to go to the cinema?" and the answer was "Yes, I want TO." I am a Portuguese speaker and for me, it does not make any sense when I need to use the preposition TO at the final of sentences. This is only an example but I have already seen the same happen with other prepositions like IN, ON, OUT, ABOUT, WITH, and so on.

Thank you so much and you are rock!.

Hola Aly, me queda la duda de si es correcto responder "Yes I do" en el ejemplo de "Do you want a coffee" o "do you want to go the cinema" teniendo en cuenta el el auxiliar es "do"
Thanks a lot!

Very useful video about that word 'I want'. I used to make mistakes with the words 'explain and give'. I used to say explain me (instead of explain IT to me) and give me (instead of give IT to me). But now I know ;) and hope to remember ;). Thanks
