bro you are wrong i use cat6 cable same the one you are using and connected on crosswire(no router) the connection stayed at 100mbps at several attempts no matter how much i tried changing the settings, ultimately i figured out there is something wrong with the windows system itself coz 3 days later out of nowhere it automatically became 1gbps there's a option to choose in adapter settings in windows changing it 1gbps does the work i copied 171gb in 1 hr at 256 mbps whiler in 100mbps connection i was at 50 mbps
