For years i tried to troubleshoot my network trying figure out why my network is stuck to 100 mbps.. stumble on your video. Although issue wasnt so obvious on my end but i decide to just recrimp the cable and now it problem solved

Thank you for the valuable information...I was under the impression that since I had connectivity, (albeit at approximately 1/10th of the provisioned speed) that the ethernet cable connected to my router was ok...I spent over two hours troubleshooting my router with Linksys tech support and, even had a Verizon FIOS service tech come out to look things over.(he must've reported that he found something because, they didn't bill me for the service call) but, I still wasn't getting anywhere near the provisioned speed of 300mb/s until I changed out the ethernet cable today. And, if it wasn't for you and this YouTube video, I would never have thought to do that so, thank you again!

After all the troubleshooting, reformating, the driver updates, endless youtube videos and fix searches in the web... Im so glad i found this video. This fixed my problem as why only my pc has 100mbps internet speed and the rest of my laptops and other pc in the house have 400mbps...it was my cat6 cable at fault. Now i can finally sleep😅 Thank you.

Thanks buddy, why didn't I see this video before? I bought a new router unnecessarily, and wasted lot of time searching for solution on internet. The cable from modem to router was an old one, just changed it.... and magic happened.

Thanks man! This helped alot. I looked at my CAT5e cable and there were only 3 wires connected. I plugged in my other one with all of the wires connected and BOOM 1gbps.

Wow thank you for this video, I checked two different cables and noticed a difference in speed. I didn't realize that Cat 5e would drop down to 100 Mbps with a faulty termination (I figured it would fail completely). I was able to go into settings and found that this cable was indeed capped at 100 Mbps. I'll recrimp the faulty one. Thanks again!

Thank You, 2 weeks spent on searching web, updating drivers, changing HUBs and advanced settings without fixing slow Ethernet speed. had to only change ethernet cable ... 🤐🤬🤦

I recently upgraded to 300mbps broadband connection, and was constantly getting 300-+(up)/300+(down) on all the computers(wifi or LAN) and phones(wireless+LAN) but except this one old desktop. After watching your video I examined my LAN cable and surely it was half-duplex. Upgraded to Full-duplex cable and its to the maximum speed. Thank you very much for this trick :)
