I love this! Can i recommend getting him a computer and a camera, not a cell phone camera, but an actual Polaroid camera. Then he can take all the pics he wants, upload them onto his computer or store them on a disk and file them.

Sounds like he would really benefit from learning a new skill and a camera and computer would be really great for him.

I'm sure people can donate computers and all those forgotten cameras out there just sitting and waiting to be loved again!! He would love them again!!

Thanks for sharing this story. Its a good reminder for us to take in the beauty that is Washington, slow down, and smell the flowers. We need a little more John in our lives.

I'm sure I have a computer or two sitting around if that's something you think would help him. Or an ipad, or camera?
