My Noisy Midea Refrigerator

.... so it turns out that when I made this video public, Midea decided that it was a problem and I had someone come out. Turns out that there was ice on the cooling coils that the fan was hitting. You can take off the back panel in the top freezer part and see the ice built up on the cooling pipes. For me the problem was that the door wasn't sealing well enough and air was leaking in and condensing and freezing on the pipes. I cleaned the door seals, and now it works OK.

Original statement follows:

I just bought this new Midea Refrigerator. It is noisy, but not all the time. I thought the compressor was making the noise. But because I can hear it sometimes properly functioning, I am sure it should not be making the noise it does most of the time. I've sent them videos of the noise, but they claim this is normal. So, I am making this video comparing the times when it is properly functioning to when it makes noise. Consider if you want this noise in your kitchen.

The blower fan needs oil. that can be fixed at home but you're gonna need to remove some screws to get to it. I recommend 3 in 1 motor oil (the blue bottle)

Just had brand new Midea fridge delivered and installed in my home and it's making the same noises. Very very annoying especially since it is advertised as being a very quiet refrigerator
