this is the only guide that is actually for begginers and new players and is 4 years ago, man.. i wish every poe content creator was like you. Others seems like they do not concieve that thier game have actually new players looking for good guides

@18:55 you don't need to sell a quiver with a bow. Just the bow alone will count the same as a two handed weapon (ex. 2h axe)
@21:42 just to expand on chromatic item - this is an item with at least one of each GREEN - BLUE - RED sockets all linked together. This will sell to a vendor for a chromatic orb

3 year old video but still very helpful. Determining what is good is something experienced players take for granted. As someone that started just a couple days ago it is very daunting to know how to use and/or manipulate gear. The when/what/how of gear is a very challenging topic for beginners.

Mate, I'm from diablo 2. I pick up everything and sell everything, stonks! No but jokes aside, nice video, useful for a new player :)

I pick up every gold item and sell them unless they have resistances to at least two elements, those ones I sell in the market for 3-5 chomatics. I portal to town 2-3x per map just to sell my gold loot 😂

I usually sell everything I find if it fits. Last night, I found an item not mentioned in the video. Mirror of Kalehandro or something like that. I sold it to the merchant in town and got a scroll fragment. Don't forget to pick those up for easy fragments.

Only reason I would pick up rares is to get into early mapping after that tho only certain ones that are level 86...Astral Plates....Bone Helmets.... Titanium caster shields.or level 86 rares for the base..:S unless I'm wrong

I just recently started and I though the loot filter was using my character level to parse items, not the zone items.
I was like: I must pick a more strict version as I keep seeing too much things.

Guess I'll have to stop picking everything, especially during the campaign :)

Thanks for the newbie guide. I just started playing a few days ago and im thinking "oh man i need to identify everything and sell them for better items but oh man getting wisdom scrolls are rare i better pick up every small grey items" /facepalm now Im slightly more educated
