Demanding a doctor match some racist preference is insane. My son has cancer and his oncology team was so professional and knowledgeable and compassionate towards him and our family; we were so grateful we had good providers that were working to treat him, that we couldn’t have cared less the race, religion, or creed of anyone.

He has a split personality and the racist part is the real him. The nice guy, was the other and they got rid of him by accident trying to get rid of the racist. This episode sucked not because it was bad but bc there are people out there just like this

I prefer a female doctor for primary care for myself but that does not mean I don't want treatment from a male doctor especially in an emergency. Doctors have worked hard for a very long time to earn that title and I will not disrespect their work. So glad to see that surgeon stand up to the racist bully!

Demanding a different doctor is patient's right, but respectfully and with a clear reason..
I'm a male ER doctor, and there are a lot of times females patients request a female doctor to examine them; because they feel uncomfortable, and they ask very nicely and we are all welcoming the request with open heart.. and vice versa if male patients situation..

But also there is the rude patients, exactly like this situation in the video.
