I can assure you as a Asian-American, that if you dress similar to our culture (and in a non blatantly offensive way of course) that you will not only be more approachable, but it will make us more proud of our culture and yours as well. It’s kind of like seeing someone wearing a shirt or a costume of a show that you are a fan of, makes people relate to each other; which I know can be tough for certain people/ideologies who wants to break people apart.
