I'm a big believer that college is pointless for most roles. But in the era where most people think that college is a definite yes or a definite no, I have a more nuanced answer.

2) Alumni Network (More difficult the entrance test more talented the alumni. Eg: IIT
3) Hostel Life (Exposure, hostel experiences, life lessons, friendships, etc)
4) To go abroad.
5) If regulation demands it. (CA, Doctor, etc.)

2. Alumina network - you get to meet the smart people and rich kids in high level colleges
3. Hostel life
4. "Success depends on how well you can convey your ideas".
5. Better reputed college hostel is better than the lower reputed college hostel - bcs if you go in lower college hostel you won't find the right people and you may get into gangs and drugs groups.

I wanna go to college to only participate in clubs, competitions and making friends, studies I can do online at night why to wake up in the morning sit in those classrooms listen to boring theory which you can understand by yourself in maybe 10 mins only

Exactly so true, realised it so early that the people who make it to IIT or IIM are the ones who already have a lot of potential in them, be it preparing for JEE or studying 12 hours a day consistently, they gotta kill in almost everything they do, so their success rate is anyways high, these entrance test are just filters, separates the best from the rest!!
