I’m Indian, and I live in Europe, it’s super interesting to me that people here and in the US see mango lassi as a staple of every Indian meal, when I don’t think I’ve ever had one at a sit down restaurant. It’s not all that common a menu item

If you haven’t been already, please try Lava, it’s a middle eastern restaurant across from Eataly near the flat iron!! We always get the beef samosas, lamb and beef pita, and lamb meatballs and everything is good!!! Also the owner is super nice and gives out free tea and sometimes dessert!!

As an Indian, It blows my mind now people in the West are selling "mango lassi", when its not found in India on Menus. Its always plain white lassi or Saffron yellow Lassi. In any case, hope it was good 😊

Would love for Kaitlyn to do a food tour through Edison! NYC Indian food in my experience is pretty Okay. There's so much variety in Jersey and IMO, the food is better (from what little I've had in NYC).
