Dean Ornish, M.D., FSBM, Founder & President of the Preventive Medicine Research Institute, and Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of California San Francisco School of Medicine, presented "Can Lifestyle Medicine Often Reverse the Progression of Early-Stage Alzheimer's Disease?" at University of Louisville Department of Medicine Grand Rounds on November 21, 2024.

Dr. Ornish's talk will focus on discussing some of the biological mechanisms that are shared by both coronary heart disease and Alzheimer's disease, identifying the lifestyle changes that were used in this study, and summarizing the implications of this study for helping to prevent Alzheimer's disease.

It never ceases to amaze me how many people refuse to give plant-based eating a try. It requires no prescription from your doctor and you can always go back to what you were doing before if you truly don't think you're getting results.
