UofL Dept. of Medicine Grand Rounds: Dr. Glen Franklin

Glen A. Franklin, M.D., FACS, Professor of Surgery; Vice Chair of Education, Hiram C. Polk Department of Surgery; Director, Advanced Trauma Life Support Course; and Medical Director, UofL Hospital Burn Unit/Kentucky Organ Donor Affiliates at the University of Louisville School of Medicine, presented "Organ Donation in the Modern Era" at University of Louisville Department of Medicine Grand Rounds on March 30, 2023.

Dr. Franklin's talk focused on reviewing the process of organ donor referral and selection based on existing hospital protocols, and discussing modern ICU treatment modalities in donor management to optimize organ potential.
