My wife was diagnosed with leukemia (CLL) 10 years ago. She gave up animal protein after reading The China Study. I'm happy to say her cancer never progressed, she is still stage 0 and has not needed treatment yet. We can't prove it was the diet change, but she is doing great.

Vegan since 1985 I am 63 years young, weight 185lbs, height 6'3" tall, full of energy, take no medications for anything, total cholesterol 141. Vegan for life and never looked back! There is nothing to look back to.

I was diagnosed with cancer in1979
I did not like the medical options and walked out on the doctors and went on a plant diet amongst other things.
I have not been to doctor or taken there prescriptions since.
I am now 73 and in excellent health.
Edit. 2 years later.
Now 75 and still going! strong!

Now 76 stronger and healthier than ever.
Oh Lord it’s great to healthy I eat nothing but plants every day.

Wow. I started running again last summer after being crippled from a car hit and run when I was out running.
Thank God for the plants that heal and having the knowledge to not eat the meat that cripples!

Cancer is big business. I live just north of Atlanta, and on the radio they are always bragging about new cancer treatment centers popping up left and right. It has become so normalized, so mainstreamed, that if you suggest a correlation with a person's "normal" diet and their disease, they will think you are crazy.

Here in America, I believe that most people who dine on the standard American diet do so for pleasure more than nutrition. Food is used like a street drug for many. It brings comfort with every meal. I tried preaching the benefits of healthy eating to many friends and family members. None of them want to hear it, even the smartest ones (some are doctors), probably for the same reason that a smoker or drinker doesn't want to hear about the dangers of their addiction. They get a tremendous amount of happiness from these substances and are willing to ignore the warnings and even the obvious negative side effects of their habits for the great pleasure they receive. You can knock them over with the evidence but they will ignore it because it would demand that they make a big change in their life by giving up what they have loved for something perceived as much less pleasurable.

I grew up in Shanghai, China. I have grandparents are well live up to age 92. My father is 87, and he still rides his bike in the city of Shanghai. He is in the great shape with unbelievable memories. Truth been told is they are consumer meats and fishes along with vegetables everyday. I believe balanced diet along with regular exercise are the keys for the healthy & long life. Practice gratitude & away from too much social medias Will enhance the quality of your life.

I’ve been vegetarian for 25 years and just gave up eggs & dairy to reduce my cholesterol, was surprised to lose 14 lbs of extra weight without trying and hope my bloodwork comes back healthier next month.

This is information from 2005. I don't think that is the case anymore with McDonalds and trade deals for beef in 2019. The Chinese are not as cancer free as they used to be.

Humans were eating meat and dairy long before it became an industry, it was a rare commodity and often consumed fresh and only as needed. It became a problem when it became mass produced, processed, and distributed. When chemicals were being introduced at every phase from farm to table to maximize profit. When those profits financed efforts to kill reform and regulation while pumping up demand. Meat is supposed to be a small part of our diet, an indulgence enjoyed maybe once or twice a month, not two or three times a week.
