Hurricane Milton: Inside the Storm From NOAA Aircraft

The intensity of Hurricane Milton can be felt from inside a NOAA aircraft, nicknamed "Miss Piggy." On board for this particular trip were 17 people including Engineer Nick Underwood. He took video of the Category 4 storm from inside the aircraft. The trip allows experts to collect data with the goal of saving lives. Inside Edition Digital has more.

As an airline captain, I dont think the average person understands how bumpy that flight is - hitting negative G's in a non-aerobatic plane is wild. Severe turbulence by airline standards is just a chill day for these dudes. Super cool.
