Pappy Recommended, Better Than Real Wood... I made this short DIY video a few years ago and today I still use Dapp plastic wood all the time.

You are THE MAN! Thanks for uploading this video. I just bought a tube of the same exact filler from Home Depot because I drilled four holes in Ted wooden floor about 1 inch deep and 3/8ths of an inch wide to bolt something down and then changed my mind about the area for the project. So I heard about wood filler but have never used something like this before. I was not sure how to use the contents in the tube. Then I saw your video! I guess I’ll just fill each of them and then let them dry. Thank you so much 😊😊😊

I always have an issue with the filler getting to hard even though the rest of the bottle is soft. I took a tool to loosen it up but its still think, strange

I am trying to fix a area that needs a decent amount of this product, I have Dap plastic wood in a tube, anyway I am finding that the product is too thick to squeeze out and form it, is there anyway to thin it out to make it more plyable?? Maybe soaking it, the tube in a cup of hot water??

Good repair but your color doesn’t match the wood. Perhaps mixing acrylic paints would provide a better match. You’ll be surprised that can be applied lightly and in layers.

Thank you. I didn't know that it'll need 3 to 4 hours to dry.

Does this method work for larger areas? We just found that our multiple cats have been using the door frame as a scratching post.

The Dab product looks red after the marker application.

0:30 Okay so you do have to cut off the end of the tube. Thought I was tripping.

Might be a silly question but can you Paint over it?

Color really doesn’t match with the markers. Try and blend of em

Looks good, works good, is good! Probably not for dentures though. Unless you have wooden teeth.😎
