i work at the dealer and that method is bleeding the water pump transmissions only can be reset with bmw software like inpa ect

I have same problem with e60 2003-2004, what mean that error before i go service

You sure it will reset your transmission? Holding down the acceleration pedal for that long will activate the water pump and start a coolant pressure bleeding process

That’s not to reset the transmission error, it’s to reset the old driver way of driving to relearn yours. Most of the time u get this error it’s the valve body .
