How to reset BMW E90/E92 Service Light - Oil, Brake Fluid, Etc

I have done this several times on a 2011 335i. It says reset, I see the clock, but it does not reset the miles. It is for the front brakes.

Install a new sensor otherwise when you reset the indicator it wil NOT change the miles, , and you do get a service warning.
Handbrake light keeps burning and service light comes on when you take the key out of the holder.
After replacing the sensor everything was solved, if you change the brake pads, BUY A NEW SENSOR !! saves you extra work.

Soooo question, is there a particular reason why the red service button would come on, i recently had a full service done on my car, they said they reset the lights but the service button is now red not yellow

I have 2008 BMW 335i, service engine light Is on. Did this, but when the check boxes come up do you push the BC button again to set it????

What if i get an exclamation point but it wont move when I hit up or down on BC lever when the car isnt running. Will only work when car is running but codes wont clear. Can i fix this on my own?

I pressed n hold bc it reset to 14k km /2 whole years oil change.. idea how to change it back to 6000km?
