How to reset your BMW's settings with iDrive 6 – BMW How-To

Learn in this video how to easily reset your vehicle's data in BMWs with iDrive 6.
Go to ""My Vehicle"", ""iDrive settings"", ""Data privacy"", ""Delete personal data"" and confirm ""Delete personal data"".
This way, all your personal data and vehicle data will be deleted and your BMW will be reset to factory settings.
The system cannot be used for up to 15 minutes and a restart is necessary.

Why has my idrive (same model) not got most of these options?

After an hour leaving and having the vehicule locked, when I go back in it starts on the "Please leave and lock the vehicule, it can take up to 15 minutes". What do I do wrong? Do I have to turn off the car when leaving it or not?

After I perfomed this reset my idrive start to reboot by itsel with a message "i drive will reboot, press volume key to turn it on" Does anyone got this problem? Bmw can please help me? Thanks!
