I watched these exact principles be implemented real-time over the course of my 4 years at uni. Let's just say it was enough to convince me never to go back. The only thing that saved me from the same mindset, I think, is that I stumbled upon the works of F.I.R.E., Dr. Saad and JBP, as well as the less professional (but still influential) efforts of Milo and Sargon.

Seeing how many of my classmates have morphed into _rabid_ socialists in the years since graduation is, frankly, disgusting.

A complete 180 degree reversal of what Universities originally were founded on: being a place of questions, debate, discussion and open review. The institutions being described by this professor are alien to these principles.

I'm an academic too and I feel very strongly that there are problems with censoriousness, cry-bullying, and hyper-sensitivity in the university context (and now beyond). It is hindering the universities doing what a lot of us pay tax-money for them to do: seek out the truth, open people's minds, even treat people fairly.

As a 52 year old former secondary level educator and now Grad student in Counseling Psychology, I can attest that your fear of getting “objective” help from a counselor is valid. My profs have done a great job attempting to indoctrinate us with critical race theory postmodernism and syllabi narrow, anti-science, and repeated projects and papers about rooting out our internalized cultural narratives (Western patriarchal and privileged oppressive narratives), and convincing us we have unconscious bias and racism lurking within. At 52, I’m old enough to know better but many of my younger cohorts believe they’re getting a quality, broad and balanced education. It’s actually gross. I need the credentials to help people in this field otherwise I wouldn’t have to play this very expensive game at Liberal Lefty U. And all in the name of social justice and compassion, of course!

I quit the Canadian Army because of this shit. A hostile workplace, that is.

DIE has infiltrated the military. Hard. I was in an infantry unit and "sensitivity" training and presentations took precedence over combat readiness .

Btw... I was in fact "fired" by a psychologist, just like that prof fears.
