PLS NOTE!
i am half japanese and have been there multiple times. Even though convenience stores are like this, don't mistake small grocery shops for convenience stores. Also, Japanese and Korean shops are entirely different!

Legit i went on a school trip and there was a 7/11 under our hotel and we ate food from there every day i got onigiri, hot tea, crosants, and my favorit thing was a strawberry ice cream macaroon.... its like tart strawberry sorbet in a sweet cookie... i miss them😭

We ate at 7-11 so often in Japan. Between the steamed buns, american dogs (seriously, the ketchup/mustard is brilliant!), Egg sammies and their huge selection of meals we could have literally ate every meal there.

It feels like a convenience store in South Korea and I wish other countries would have them. Convenience stores my heaven whenever I go to Korea and Japan

I really would’ve loved if you would’ve tried some authentic Japanese food instead of these westernised dishes but it’s alright!! This is for those who are interested in knowing the most delicious food items and snacks I’ve had in my childhood in Japan!

1. Yakisoba
These are my fav noodles!! They’re brown in color and tastes so damn good, my mom used to prepare these with some chopped bell peppers and cabbage

2. Pork sausages
I know pork sausages are nothing special as Japan is not the only country having them but the Japanese sausages are like very small in size and so damn tasty. I don’t what it has but it’s very addictive and delicious.

3. Chocorooms
These are like small mushroom sized chocolates and are in vanilla and chocolate flavour, those were my childhood 😭

4. Chicken Karage
My mom used to get the frozen ones probably and I used to get them in my lunchbox every Friday, karage is like fried boneless chicken but so flavourful!!

5. Prawn Crackers
They are in a stick-like shape chips which are prawn flavoured and my all time favvv!!

6. Meiji Chocolate
Just a usual chocolate bar but so delicious and soft like it always melts in your mouth

7. Bento
My father always used to get bentos for me and my sis in my childhood days, those were like a plastic box with several different compartments filled with tasty food items.
(Rice, Karage, beans, katsu, salmon, some sort of salad)

8. Katsu-Kare
Katsu is basically a Japanese chicken cutlet coated with bread crumbs served with rice and golden curry which is savoury delicious curry with square shaped potatoes, onions and bell peppers. Always my fav!!

These are just few of the things I love but Japan is filled with so many more beautiful things and places!! This info is pretty outdated as this is like 2017 times, btw this is a very unknown fact but Japan has the best cakes, especially the strawberry cakes!!! The best strawberries on vanilla cake with strawberry filling. Everyone shall go to Japan at-least once in their life to taste the food…
