My thoughts are... A narcissist looks for someone that themselves can trust.
Trust that person will never hurt them, lie, cheat, steal. All the virtues they themselves do not possess.

They go after CODEPENDENT PEOPLE. People with underlying low self worth and lack of boundaries

I think as much as we may be off put by the notion, empathy and enabling walk similar paths. We want to do the best to help people, lift people up, and yes sometimes save people. But the way that can translate is enabling behavior. Having more patience than maybe we should, over helping, over sharing, poor boundaries, aversion to conflict, and because we tend to believe the best in most people it becomes very easy to believe the words over the actions which builds the dissonance. It's the perfect inperfect puzzle.

I only had one narcissist relationship that I know of…. With that said I guess I’ve been lucky because now that im educated in what it’s is, I’d be very careful who I fall inlove with in the future

my judgement is impaired, religious upbringing and family made me think that everyone is good and loving, and im not God to judge, so its like i respect complete idiots but in reality i refuse to see their bad sides and dont analize, but no more baby

My dad is a narcissist. So that didn’t give me the greatest start in representing men. I just got out of a narcissistic relationship. And I believe the guy I dated before him has narcissistic tendencies as well. Smh 🤦🏾‍♀️
