Man, that's messed up. At least it was in the past. I once got hooked up with a random person when I was little, thought I was so smart telling the person I was the wrong guy, but they took it as a response and I got a message from another person saying something like "we should go on a date" blocked both their numbers after 😅

And that’s why the scammers continue using that trick. Because a small number of people actually do fall for it.
Whether it be a momentary lapse in judgment, or because they legitimately believed it, people fall for it, and that’s how scammers get money.

I once got an email from someone saying they inherited a large fortune but needed money to move the fortune to my country and they would give me a cut of it. I was so disappointed that i didn't have the money to help them, if only I knew 😅
