JK Rowling put her neck on the line - and brought down the Hate Crime Act. By challenging the police to arrest her for "misgendering", she set the precedent that it can't be used to arrest people for misgendering, and the SNP can't use it to lock up opponents of their gender ideology.

Also the most reported person under the Hate Crime Act is its creator, Humza Yousaf. Lol.

I would urge EVERYONE in Scotland to submit a SUBJECT ACCESS REQUEST (under The Freedom of Information Act) online to PoliceScotland to request details held about them, in particular with reference to NCHIs - Non-Crime Hate Incidents.
PoliceScotland are obliged BY LAW to reply to such requests with the information requested (with a few limited exceptions re National Security, etc). This will ensure the police are kept busy and prevent boredom setting in.

Humza Yousaf has made a complete fool of himself over his wildly ambiguous hate crime law. 8000 reported incidents in the first week - how on earth will the Scottish police process this volume of complaints? Like they don’t have anything else to do, like uphold all the other laws and order!
