The problem is that they cannot comprehend the underlying fact that words like "racism", "homophobia", "misogyny", etc are used as a cudgel to silence the opponent but rarely used to address actual problems that are able to be addressed directly. For example, people arguing against Peterson unsuccessfully have merely to accuse him of racism, homophobia, misogyny, etc without any substantiation, and all in attendance are therefore coerced into teaming up against Peterson. It's cowardice and disgusting.

As a half Senegalese, half Norwegian man, living in the UK, I've got to say that I'm so sick of the word "racism". The only true colour prejudice I ever face here comes from a certain political demographic; fawning all over me, trying to prove just how not racist they are by putting me on a pedestal and treating me differently because of the colour of my skin - just like the woman sitting next to Jordan Peterson so obviously does on a regular basis. It's all because this type of person was raised in abject, upper-middle-class privilege, and growing up, has never really encountered people who don't look like them. So when they do encounter one of us, they over-compensate. Their awkward posturing and virtue signalling always makes me want to throw up.
The contrast between them and working-class people, who tend to grow up in multi-ethnic areas, and as a result are generally completely comfortable and at ease around different ethnicities, is staggering. Yet, it always seems to be the former accusing the latter of racism.
