Nashville native named New Orleans Inspector General

After nearly four hours of debate the Ethics Review Board voted 6-to-1 Wednesday evening to appoint Derry Harper of Nashville, Tennessee as the new inspector general. Harper was chosen over interim inspector general Howard Schwartz, in a move the board hopes will provide a fresh start for the office.
