How to Start PS1 Games on PS2 FAT - SCPH-39004 PAL System - Matrix Infinity Chip

ENG: If you start normally your PS2, then you can't play Ps1 games with the matrix chip. So put the PS1 game in PS2, turn off the system. Then Hold down the power button for 2 seconds at least. And now you can play Ps1 games. I hope you understand, sorry for my bad english, i never learned english. :)

HUN: Ha normálisan bekapcsolod a PS2-det, ami mátrix chippel van felszerelve, akkor nem fogja olvasni a PS1-es játékokat. A következőt kell tenned: Beteszed a PS1-es játékot, kikapcsolod a rendszert, majd újból bekapcsolod, viszont a bekapcsoló gombról ne emeld fel az ujjad legalább 2 mp-ig. Ha jól csináltad, akkor el fog indulni a PS1-es játék.

When you started your PS2, it recognizes the PS1 disc as a PS2 disc.

Really thanks a lot! (so this is for ps1 games on a FAT model ps2, and your ps1 memory card in the first slot of your ps2). So still press the reset button for a while. And maybe a second thing, the blue ps1 disks are hard to read, you can help the laser by turning your ps2 upside down.

I got an fat version, and a ps1 game. The game is medium scratched, and every time i put the disc inside the ps2, the ps1 logo comes, and it says sony bla bla presents... And nothing, just a black screen. I've tried to put toothpaste two times, and washed it, but nothing happened. Can someone please help me!

Hello which matrix modchip ? There are 2 one is ( matrix infinity) and the other is (matrix 2) i have an issue since my ps2 is 39004 when i play a backup of crash bash the frames are super slow

Do you know that? 5000X or less models, can not play anti - protected ps1 game. For Matrix Infiniti chips, this feature is supported from v9. - v14 If you want a perfect PS2, buy a 5000X model.
