This one was super nostalgic for me. Especially the boot screen. I've missed that sound.

Man. The starting music INSTANTLY puts me right into 'Resident Evil/Silent Hill is about to load' Nostalgia. DEEP nostalgia.

The fact we could hold a metric fuck ton of games/saves on those (iirc) 8mb save cards. Still was a hard choice what to delete when no more space was available.

I think w the ps2, I would let the screen go to that ocean waves sound, that had those balls moving around the center of the screen. Watching them while lying in the dark, along w the waves would lull me & keep me in a deep sleep. Wonder if someone made a 2-8hr long play of that on here? 🤔

no one could ever beat the excitement we had for ps1, the excitement for playing these games. Going back from school to playing these games with those square box graphics and amazing stories, the first time every experiencing 3d games. current generation would never feel, the way we felt and experienced in our life

I can't believe that the PS1 is almost 30 Years Old. I'm so glad I got to play one of these and a Nintendo 64 back in the Early 2000's when I was just a Little Toddler (Somewhere Around 3-4 Years Old) I'm more of a Nintendo 64 Guy but the PS1 Startup will always hold a Special Place in my Heart and in my Memories since I was a Baby. I also remember so well that I would always Pop Music CDs in (Since the Original Sony PlayStation is a CD Player) and I would always Set up the Visualization Effects and Change the Designs Around During all the Tracks when the Songs would all be playing. That was the Most Awesomest thing I ever saw which means it blew my 4 Year Old Mind when I would Screw Around with the Visualization and I would Rock out to all of those Rock Bands from the Late 90's and Early 2000's (That was me as a Little Toddler) and that's what I like about the PS1 other than the Startup at the beginning of the Screen when you turn the Console on and Pop a Game in or Pop a Music CD in as I mentioned its also a CD Player. So yeah those are my Earliest Memories of the PS1 so this and the Nintendo 64 were the very 1st Home Consoles that I ever played way before I started School and this is when I Discovered Gaming through those Systems from the same Era (Late 90's and Early 2000's you know that Era)

Wow those last 10 sec turned me back 20 years ago.. best period of my life, playing fifa with r9 [ real ronaldo] at my aunts place with my mom. Best moment ever. Glad to have experience it.
