This is the most common reasons why an iPhone will restart every 3 minutes.

In this video, we’ll show you how to:
✅How to diagnose an iPhone that restarts every 3 minutes
✅How to find the panic log in the settings
✅How to use the iDevice Panic Log Analyzer by Wayne Bonnici
✅Which parts cause 3 minute restarts on iPhone X, XS, XS Max and iPhone 11, 11 Pro, 11 Pro Max
✅And more!

Follow the video for instructions on how to install it.
Works on Windows only.

When dealing with an iPhone X, XS, XS Max or iPhone 11, 11 Pro or 11 Pro Max, there are some sensors that are required to be detected, in order for the iPhone not to restart.

These models require the Charging Port to be plugged in or else it will restart every 3 minutes.
iPhone X
iPhone XS
iPhone XS Max

These models require the Charging Port and the Power Button Flex to be plugged in, or else it will restart every 3 minutes.
iPhone 11
iPhone 11 Pro
iPhone 11 Pro Max

In scenarios where you have the appropriate flexes plugged in, but it still restarts, then you either have:
- Bad or damaged flex
- Low quality aftermarket flex
- Liquid damaged flexes (check other flex cables, like volume, camera, antenna, etc)
- Or it could be something else

In the video, I go through how to review the panic log files to get some clues that will point you closer to a possible solution.

I haven't been able to fully test an iPhone 12 series, to see which cables are necessary to prevent 3 minute restarts. If you have figured that out, comment below with your findings! 👇👇

I have an iPhone 13 Pro. It started restarting randomly, definitely more than 3 minutes (maybe every 30 minutes?). I haven’t dropped it or anything since I got it. The only thing I can think of is it’s in front of my car AC for a while sometimes. I have four panic-full-2022-05-23…ips files. What do you think is the issue?

Wow, thank you so much! Thats awesome. I´ve had problems with the 11 series when using the laser machine! Always removed all components while using the laser machine, but still the phone would reboot after reassembeling! It make sense that its the power-button cable that was causing it! That you so much! :) :) :) Great to know how to read the panic log!

Just a suggestion, you do not need to download this panic log tool to determine what the issue is at hand. There can be privacy concerns with sharing these logs because a panic log dumps metadata info on many things and among those are apps you have downloaded on your device. Generally, the top portion of this log will give you everything you need and so there is no point in using an "analyzer" tool. The panic log cheat sheet provided by the publisher is all you really need. Remember to stay aware of what information you are sending to other programs, websites, apps, etc. With that said, great video!

Hi Jesse, thanks for all the great information. Its hard to find a good tech that knows how things actually work! Got my iPhone 8 at the store to be fixed and they replaced the IC chip/board saying that was the issue (keep restarting) Issue returned shortly after got the device back. Tried recovery etc nothing helps. Once I recover from backup or start as new device it works for a short amount of time then starts rebooting again and again. Any advise? Iil check the log as you mentioned and hope I find something there.

Hello Jesse, thank you for the video, its very informative. I'm wondering if you can help me?

I recently repaired the back glass of my Iphone 11 with a heat gun (300 degrees). I removed the motherboard during the heating but foolishly I left the flex cables connected. So when I reconnected the motherboard it began restarting every 3 minutes. The panic log shows missing sensor mic2 prso, AOP Panic (no pulse on ox113b3a0 - audio), missing sensor(s): TG0B TG0V.

I inserted the motherboard in to a different iphone where the flex cables were perfectly fine and it still rebooted every 3 minutes? But the motherboard was working before I changed the back glass and I did not expose it to heat at all.

Any ideas as to why the motherboard still has the panic logs on it on a different phone? Thanks 😊

My brand new iPhone 13 pro had a purple screen and then restarted. What irritates me the most about his is that the phone is less than a month old. I checked the logs and it says “panic full”. Should I send this in to the Genius Bar ? Or should I just leave it. This only happened once and my phone still feels like normal.

Hey Jesse, I Have An Iphone Xr. It Restarts randomly, i’ve tried erasing all data ( factory reset) and started fresh thinking it was a software issue. Phone still restarts, followed your steps in the video and when it reads the logs under possible issues it says “ no issues found “ except for two logs which say : Ans2 Recoverable Panic- assert failed and it lists the possible issues as the NAND And Board Layers( Sandwiched Boards Only), so could that be my problem ?

tx for your tutorial! just yesterday i'm faced with a similar issue - except that my iphone X only keeps restarting when it's idle/locked every few mins for the entire day & night to the point i removed auto-lock to stop it as it's completely fine when it's not idle/locked. checked batt health, storage/memory, bad apps, etc. - everything OK so i thought the only final resort was to reset or send to the iphone service centre to replace some hardware parts. then i read somewhere to try to drain the phone batt and then recharge to 100%. i did this morning and amazingly - the problem seems to have been resolved!!! i hope it stays fine this way...
