iPhone 8 / 8 PLUS HOW TO: Force Restart

This video shows you how to properly restart Apple's latest iPhone 8 or iPhone 8 Plus. This is commonly known as a force restart and not the usual power on / power off.

Step 1 - Quickly press volume up and release
Step 2 - Quickly press volume down and release
Step 3 - Hold down the Sleep / Wake Button until the Apple Logo apears.

I was prepared to leave a snarky comment but this video demonstrated something seemingly no other guide seems to: when you hold the power button you *hold* the power button. Other people make it sound like you hold it for as long as you typically do to get the “slide to shut down” message, but instead you gotta hold it for a good deal longer.

Does this work when you are on the Lock Screen? My phone disabled itself for good and I can’t login to iTunes to make it not disabled again because m screen is glitchy and stuff and it just presses random stuff. But anyways this isn’t working so maybe I am doing something wrong. My alarm keeps going off on it and it is soooo annoying because it is set for 6:00am so I really want it off for good.

My issue is with my phone my phone was acting up I always power it off and turn it back on and it will stop and work back again but this time it didn't work now it's only stuck on the logo part and it keeps blinking and go back to the logo part I wish I could show you a video to make sure you understand what I'm trying to explain!
