Journey mode is sure, creative mode of Terraria, but it's mainly QoL and you can play any mode on it (except for legendary (?))

I played terraria when i was 7, didn’t know what to do, died to a classic mode slime because the copper shortsword was weird for me at the time. Recently re-discovered the game, got into an expert world, got an amazing seed and beat the game within 2 weeks. Really fun game

Playing Fargo's Souls with Journey mode is really fun. Also Expert is the best for vanilla, but Master Mode is weirdly more balanced with mods than in vanilla itself.

One thing about journey that’s worth mentioning is it’s unique in the sense that it doesn’t have a set difficulty as you can freely adjust it from the following

0.5- journey
1.0 classic
2.0 expert
3.0 master
Changing the world to expert and master does what you expect and will change boss attacks and drops (getting the shield of cathulu from defeating the eye of cathulu)

After my first play through with my friends on master mode, when it was added, i never played on classic and expert, only on jorney a few times just for fun

Modded Terraria difficulties are wild.
Check these out:
Calamity Mod adds Revengeance mode and Death Mode
Fargo’s Souls mod adds Eternity mode and Masochist mode.
And finally, Calamity’s Infernum mod which adds a difficulty that revamps the ai even more than expert and adds new attacks.

Master mode because I liked waffle time’s master mode challenges and I loved them and started to play on master mode and I fell in love with it because it was not to easy and there was a lot more of a challenge

Mastermode also makes alot of attacks a bit faster, theres more to it then just more stats but i can see how explaining it wouldnt fit in a short.
