It did open up a bunch of new questions for me, though. How would their LTC annuity compare to a "LTC doubler" income annuity, where the annual income is doubled for 5-7 years? Can it be funded over time/from cash flow, or would that be better with life insurance ABRs? Could you fund the LTC annuity with IRA or HSA money, or only NQ? What would the net legacy difference be if they used life insurance instead of this annuity (and never needed the LTC benefit for ABR)?

At any rate, you opened my eyes to more possibilities, and I'm curious to keep learning!
