“Only $5, 000” idk what money bracket y’all come from but that’s a blessing!!!! I literally have to work 15+ hours at day at 2 jobs (physical labor) + Overtime to even see barely 500 a week so I’ll take it :)

Agent here, with one of those 3 letter companies. In the last 10 days I made just over $5, 000 (about $9200 ALP). You get out what you put in. On pace to make about $20K this month.

5K that’s pretty much double what I make rn. Plus we not here to be average. I’d rather 5k on my own then 10k understand some one else. 5k a month sounds like a blessing to me, this video only solidified my decision to keep working hard.

Personally I’m building two other businesses as well.

Shit Peter, I'd take 5, 000 a month 😂 I'm at the most I have ever made right now at 16.50, around 2000 or so a month after taxes. I feel like a Rockstar at 2000 I imagine how'd happy I'd be at 5k lol

I would say this is pretty accurate. I've been in the life insurance business since 2015 . I don't have any overhead and don't pay for leads . Id say I am pretty average and work about 30 hrs /week. strictly personally producing right now . I have 90% retention and make about 5k a month . I've had a team before and was making considerably more money but was putting in considerably more hours. I also have seen people in my company that are more motivated than me make 20k+ a month. I don't have a spouse or kids so working remotely is perfect and lets me travel all over and I enjoy taking time off to explore . For someone that is willing to put in the time and effort, life insurance is a great long term career . Just make sure you look into leads, chargebacks, and residuals when you interview with a company and be prepared to put in work .

Peter you are the G.O.A.T that has been sent to help people and change this industry. You have helped more people in the past few months than these greedy IMOs have done in the last 20 years!

BUT..that’s NOT consistent income. 99% cannot sustain their sales activity in the field for an extended period of time. MOST will burn out, making their IMO owner and the carriers RICH, while the salesman/woman are left standing holding the bag.

100% agree with all your points. Every time I hear these recruiters talk about AP I have to roll my eyes. The ONLY thing that matters is net. Thanks Peter!

I'm solo, have been solo for about a decade. In 2022, I spent 9.5 to 10k in leadgen from multiple sources (if they sell leads, I've bought them), so right at 120k for the year. 833 policies sold, Gross revenue of 867, 996.12. Retention ratio was right at 70%, so estimated net of 607, 597.20...so after lead costs around 480k.

Hey Peter,

I just found your channel. I am curious. What's your IMO/FMO?

I am captive selling P&C over the phone for a carrier. I want to learn how to sell FE over the phone.

My 1st year I made $62K

2nd year $65K

This year prob $67K

I am now your 167th agent on your list 😂
Good video.

Just came across your content keep up the informative information! There is a bad taste in the industry with recruiters, digital content creators/ agents sales pitch is overall recruitment based instead of information based far as mastering the policies to sale.-Callaway

I think the biggest factor in what you'll make, is the company you sell for.
This is my 3rd year in the insurance industry, I sell both P&C and life/health insurance.

Make sure your company pairs you fairly, you would be shocked at the commission rate difference between companies. I have seen anywhere from 15% all the way up to 90% on FYC (first year commissions) on annual premium rate.

Also brush up on your marketing skills, make your clients do your work for you with referrals!
The closing ratio of referrals is so much higher than a client that you found on your own.

The roof does not exist in this industry, sell as much as you can and live a good life!

Peter on this data, you said it was profit. Does that mean it was after setting aside for tax? Thank you
