Biden revealed that he has been in regular contact with his staff, discussing the situation every 4 to 5 hours over the past week, and maintained direct and constant communication with Ukrainian officials. However, he chose not to disclose further details while the situation remains active.

On August 14, Russia announced that it had started to counter a Ukrainian incursion into its Kursk region, which had been ongoing for a week. Ukrainian officials countered this claim, stating that their advance in Kursk continues and hinting at possible "next steps" in their strategy.

It's another Zelenskyy lunacy not a "dilemma for Putin". Zelenskyy wasted 2, 300 troops KIA, 279 armored vehicles, 15 artillery systems, 4 anti-aircraft systems on this another PR misadventure that makes zero military sense while vital Ukrainian positions at the actual front are falling apart. The same nutty pattern with Bakhmut, Krinky or a publicly announced failed Zelenskyy offensive in 2023. Zelenskyy is the gift that keeps on giving to the Russians.
