Bertie Gregory is back, and this time, the adventures are even more epic! Bertie takes us to the most spectacular corners of our planet — from Antarctica to Africa and South America to Asia – tracking down extraordinary animals to capture their daily lives like never before. Armed with drones, state-of-the-art cameras, and underwater tech, he and his team brave subzero seas, climb snow-capped mountains, and sleep suspended 120 feet in the air to reveal the challenges these animals endure, their fierce rivalries, and the threats they face on our changing planet. ANIMALS UP CLOSE WITH BERTIE GREGORY shows all the behind-the-scenes moments he and his team face while adapting to unpredictable wildlife in remote environments where filming rarely goes as planned. There is no script for this unique series, but through it all, Bertie brings the audience with him every step of the way.

That’s amazing! So glad the team was there to capture it on film.

Way better to see such amazing creatures on film than in captivity!

It’s insane that these animals both know exactly what they’re doing, not just being curious but actual intents to what they’re doing

It's amazing to know, that whales have empathy. Update: Look up, "A Whale Saved My Life" here on YouTube.

Mother nature never fails to amaze me, all these creatures have so much more intelligence and feelings than we ever thought possible. The hunting of whales killing a porpoises and killer whales. It’s such a tragedy. I wonder why they even let us photograph them. Great video. thank you.

Sorry for the seal. Life is cruel. Lucky day for the killer whale and her calf. Love the humpback coming to the rescue even it's too late.

This is like lion vs hyena level stuff, except in an ocean, instead of the grasslands. Fantastic!

"Killer whales sometimes take humpback calves" So basically just the humpback whales being protective parents. 👀🐋🐋

I don't think the killer whale is showing the seal as a sign of "you didn't stop us" but more as "look this is not one of you" in an attempt for the humpback whales to leave, they know that even if they have already succeeded in this hunt the others are still much larger and they will not be able to keep hunting safely until peace is achieved!

The more science and discovery is observed with Orca, the more we are inspired to understand them, their ingenious methods and behaviors. Their intelligence truly amazes us and connects humanity to fight for their survival.

It’s the last place on Earth that’s not dominated by smelly humans. A place where wildlife is still wild.

Whales can definitely be so smart! We even know that sperm whales developed a strategy to protect the calves from orcas! Our crew even showed evidence that sperm whales also came up with a system to avoid whalers!
