Anger Is Your Ally | Mindful Ways to Monitor and Manage Anger #AngerManagement #SelfAwareness

Показать описание
Hello, my name is Hong Jeong and I’m a licensed therapist specializing in treating anxiety and trauma. Anger goes hand in hand with anxiety and trauma. To cover or suppress anxiety and traumatic memories, we often use anger for self-protection. Today, we’re going to learn 3 steps to take a pause and effectively deal with anger.
I’ve prepared 3 questions for you to review your progress.
#1. How would you describe your mood in the past week on a scale of 0 to 10 (0 being the most unpleasant and 10 being the most pleasant you can feel)?
#2. What emotional and physical change did you notice when using “Riding the Wave”?
#3. Can you tell me at least 2-3 helpful actions that you took after using “Riding the Wave”?
Anger fixates on the negative in ourselves, others, and situations. Manager management is not about making anger go away or detaching anger from our experience. It’s about tolerating the experience and emotions while finding goodness in the present moment. I hope you found our session helpful. Take care of yourself and do your healing every day.
