Atom Downloader & Acquisition Parameters - Training Video 2
Показать описание
For part 2 of this Atom Seismograph training series we cover how to download data from Atom Seismographs and how to change their acquisition parameters (sample rate and gain).
This tutorial video uses the Windows Atom Downloader application, available freely on our website. Navigate to our resources section and type in "atom" or "atom downloader" to find the latest version.
The Atom-1C (yellow box) is a one channel seismograph designed for passive seismic surveys. The Atom-3C (orange box) is a three channel seismograph designed for ambient noise H/V surveys and Rayleigh-Love wave analysis.
Atom-1C Seismograph:
Atom-3C Seismograph:
Used together, a complete Atom-1C & 3C seismic system can collect shear wave and micro-tremor measurements simultaneously. Each Atom operates completely independently, requiring no spread cables, and as such the spacing between each Atom can vary based on the design of the operator.
Being a next generation seismograph, Atom surveys are much quicker than traditional land seismic surveys and can be done by a single individual easily in the field.
Part 1 of this training series covers field operations with the Atom Seismographs for VS and H/V survey methods:
Part 3 of this training series covers how to process VS and H/V data using SeisImager/SW+ (SPACPlus and WaveEQ modules):
SeisImager/SW-Plus (requires purchase and registration for full featured version):
