as hard as it already is to even FIND these sneaky aps that wont let you uninstall them....there should be laws passed that force all phone makers to build in the phones the ability for phone owner to uninstall what ever they dont want...ALL aps need to be LISTED in settings and made uninstallable. there should not be all this huge hassle to fid them AND not be able to EASILY get rid of them...with just a few clicks

Literally over half the memory on my phone is taken up by unremovable apps (none of which show up when I go to Settings -> Biometrics and Security -> Other security settings -> Device admin apps, as you suggested), and almost the other half is taken up by system apps. My android is only a couple years old, and its memory is completely compromised by things I don't want, didn't add, and can't uninstall...

Can't uninstall YouTube. I'm pretty cynical as to why. They know it's easy to enable again. They know us addicts will, eventually.

thanks, im using the advanced method featured on the "original article". the instructrions seem straightforward. Hopefully this method works and i wont have to jailbreak my phone to remove these annoying apps that hog system storage.

I installed an app from zip file wich has bunch of apk fonts and that app is just invisible, it won't showing in menu as well in setting but it is installed on system I'm trying to uninstall but i can't find it anywhere. I tried to install it again an update pop-up shows wich indicates app is installed.

A tip you can use for finding that admin option is to search "app" in the settings search bar if you don't seem to find it :D

Didn't see any link close to what you mentioned in the post for removal of apps that cant be removed normally. I disable the trash apps, like the ones that Android no longer uses, and occasionally find them updating themselves. A waste of space and install data. Android customer support only responds, "its more than likely an app your phone uses and needs". That's it...

none of the apps I want to remove show up in any of the methods shown. I can't even revoke admin privileges because it doesn't show up in that list either

Haven't tried this yet, sure hope it works. So frustrating, my phone has almost no internal storage remaining. Already deleted all the unwanted apps I could, but still a lot remaining that I never use (TikTok, Amazon, etc.) and no way to delete these! I can't even update my phone's internet because it says there isn't enough space!

Do you know how to remove the mmi group app? Its not listed under admin and its eating my battery and memory

Everybody has a video that shows how to disable a bloatware app. But nobody addresses the issue of "Disabling this app may cause your phone to not work right or misbehave." And it will, I have tried. It's like telling somebody they can put their car in reverse and just back up. But not tell you what to do if there is something in the pathway behind the car.
