How To Fix DaVinci Resolve Image Sequence NOT Importing Issue

So after updating DaVinci Resolve to 17.4, I was unable to import image sequences, I don't if this is a bug or just how the software works now. Anyways, after messing around with some settings, I was able to figure out how to fix the image sequence issue.

If you're having the same issue, I will show you how you can easily fix that in this video.

Thank you for the thorough explanation! I kept trying to change to sequence from the edit tab, and I couldn't figure it out why it wasn't working! Other tutorials don't specify that you have to be in media tab. Thanks again!

I've done this exact thing on every single guide, clicking the correct tab, clicking the correct option, and it's still importing as individual images and not a sequence and it's incredibly frustrating :(
