711 here. The Strat is in the City of Las Vegas. Clark County does not recognize the Strat as part of the Strip.
There is a stairwell that goes to the top of the Strat. The stairwell has 108 stories with 1, 455 steps. Every year the American Lung Associations holds a race “Scale the Strat”. The “Scale the Strat” race starts on the ground floor and finishes on the 108th floor covering 1, 455 steps. In 2023 two contestants finished the race in under 7 minutes.
The Strat is the tallest free-standing observation tower in the United States, 1, 149 feet or approximately 350.2152 meters tall. Construction started on the Strat February 2, 1992, and the Strat opened on April 30, 1996.

The neighborhood around Twain and Swenson was a very nice area populated with casino workers in the 1970s/80s. Clean and safe, reasonable rents. It’s total ghetto and very dangerous today.
