While there were some great fan castings for the remake, they decided to go with the sequel, which honestly fans are probably more excited about. I LOVE that they kept the authenticity of the Sisters. Using the original cast was a good move, I hear talk of a third one too.

Loved this movie. Gilbert did a good job connecting to the 1993 film. And the new witch, so hot 🔥 and she completely sold that character. Seeing her flying at the end I want to see her take center stage in Hocus Pocus 3.

Hocus Pocus 2 is a perfect example of why we don't do sequels. As excited as I was about the reprisal, I felt the original cast brought down the movie. It felt like a bunch of seasoned actors just phoned in their roles. HP2 felts more like High School Musical than Hocus Pocus.
