I joined the Marine Corps when I could’ve been treated like an adult from day 1 regardless of rank, met a beautiful Woman and gotten married by now. I wouldn’t trade my 8 years though because it made me an absolute UNIT of a Man and when War comes America depends on us. Semper Fi🎩🇺🇸

Hello I graduated bmt over 3 years ago here is some info for the people getting ready to join or just interested
This is for Air Force college for officer training

This is not Air Force basic training enlisted

You either will get put in Disney land or Alcatraz

Alcatraz looks like shit bad floors bad design old asf stains etc:

Disney land is the new bmt it’s set up the same as Alcatraz but just newer one big ass room with a locker at every bed and a total of around 45 lockers and beds with hardly any space between beds you will sleep with everyone in your flight until you finish all 8 weeks of basic


Once you get to tech school you will sleep with a roommate and your room could be decent but not to this level but it will be a dorm room

Wow! That’s a five start dorm. When o went through in the Navy it was an open dorm with about 30 bunk beds.

At Lackland AFB during BMT if our racks looked like that our dorm would be destroyed and we would have to do a "do over". Those hospital corners are no good.

The wrinkles in the dust cover would be unacceptable in the Army. It would have been ripped of the bunk and the Soldier made to remake it the proper way with no wrinkles
