Watching this before I couple of months before I join Australian Defence Force (ADF). Makes me nervous and excited at the same time. Somebody can look up to. To all Marines or included to Military, salute and respect to y'all!

One of the biggest regrets in my life was not taking advantage of an opportunity provided to me while in basic training to go to a year prep school, then attend west point. Throughout my time in service, every west point officer I met was top notch. Everything came together for me after serving. The GL Bill paid for my college education at UT Austin, which I loved, I bleed burnt orange. But for me, and who I am, west point would have been a better fit.

The fact these guys are even smiling means it’s not that bad. Enlisted basic training you don’t want to smile because you’re not having a good time

I was there this past weekend for a tour. Incredible campus. I was shocked at the day to day rigorous schedule cadets go through. Much respect 🫡

There is nothing like the site of Michie Stadium surrounded by the fall foliage, overlooking the Hudson River. Truly breathtaking
