I’m glad you like my car. I love it, a 2012 Fit. I didn’t understand why they stopped selling them. I would never want to part with mine. They would laugh at me at Honda when I brought it in for an oil change. Then they would ask me if they could buy it back from me. I told them I’m keeping this car till one of us dies and it’s liable to be me first. My only slight problem is when I park it in a big shopping center parking lot, I can’t see where I parked it later because it is surrounded by all those huge SUV’s.

I just purchased an 09 Honda fit sport last week. Bough it from an old man who couldn’t drive anymore with 54, 000 miles on it for 7k.

My brother had a Honda Fit, manual. That was one of the best cars I've ever driven. The interior is WAY bigger than it looks, so people complaining it was too small are looking at the outside.

My daughter-in-law bought a new 2019. She loves her Fit. My best pal has had Fit since 2011 and it runs like a dream.

Had a 2006 FIT. It was a fantastic car. Surprisingly roomy and possibly the very first truly fold flat seats in a car. It was really great.

When Honda started modifying these series of engines and came out with the direct injected turbo versions of the L15 in the newer Accords and Civics, their reliability started going downhill with blown head gaskets and oil dilution. Till this day I don't trust the L15 DI Turbos for long term reliability like I do with B series and the K series motors. It is unfortunate that Honda decided to end the port injected version of the N/A K20C2 this year, the 2024 model year being the last one to get it.

I bought a 09 FIT new. My son has it now 340, 000 miles. Scotty, if you put it in manual mode and used the paddle shifter the FIT is a little more zippy!!! BTW you didn't note it's made in JAPAN!!! Thx

Sister has a 2010 Insight, It was given to her, headed to the junk yard, 187, 000 miles, needed 8 new spark plugs, 2 per cylinder. Oil change.
I replaced the front and rear plastic body pieces, right front fender, new headlight bezels, new front fender well pieces. Now a solid car, original AC still working, coolant flush and refill. Honda reputation lives on. Oh yeah, new tires.

"They are fun to drive in the twisties..." I also love their instrument gauge cluster design. And as Scotty has mentioned, they are easy to work on for people who like to work on their cars. I hope this side of Honda never goes away.

I grew up in the back of a VW bug. During that time I became 6’4” early on. I was very familiar with small cars. I always loved them because the engineers designed every inch very well. Not afraid to drive one now.

You are right about people wanting bigger vehicles. The Manufacturers make them for the American Market which is big, and the rest of the world have to buy cars bigger than what is needed. Here in New Zealand I notice the Crvs and Rav 4s are bigger than the older models and the Hiluxs and other small trucks have grown from single cab to crew cab and now double cab and they take up the entire parallel car park and are likely to put their towball through your Grill if you park behind them.

I don't think anyone will mistake a Fit for a race car.
