I was a windows user, but after using linux there is no way i am going back to windows again . Thanks to you and linux i have saved my hard earned money . I had to buy a new pc to run windows 10 smoothly . Linux is clean, compact and more importantly very light .

kinda weird that my server pc (that runs windows 10 pro) has a background usage of 2-3%, for reference it has a 4th gen i5 so it's not like the CPU is just so big in comparison to the usage. I think ill test ubuntu too tho and see the difference

i dual boot with ubuntu 20.04 and windows 10, and i have noticed that ubuntu is using around 13% cpu in idle, which windows cpu usage is more as soon as it boots up, but goes down to around 1 or 2% in idle. my laptop runs way cooler in windows 10 than in ubuntu, why is that?

I'm mainly a Windows user, but switched to 19.10 recently to try it out. To be honest, so far I still think Windows is much more optimized and runs much better out of the box. Multiple monitor support is not very well from my experience. Took me quiet a while to set-up my 5 monitor setup, and had to install 3rd party apps to get everything as I want. Other thing I noticed is that watching heavy video (let's say 4k 60fps hdr on YouTube) drops almost a 5th of the frames in 19.10 while in Windows it barely drops any frames. I'm gonna continue trying to use it for a while longer though.

And it equally sucks on Ubuntu and on Windows 10.
